The School of Nursing is proud to feature a state-of-the-art simulation lab. The 'sim' lab is designed to bridge theory to practice in a safe, interactive learning environment which promotes the competence and confidence of our students.
 

What is Simulation?

Simulation is a learning tool which can assist students to develop the cognitive and psychomotor skills which are essential to safe and effective nursing practice. Simulation is highly adaptable to the needs of the learner throughout the nursing curriculum. Simulation experiences may include the use of task trainers, manikins, and computer software to enhance learning.
